Abstract

การวิจัยนี้เพื่อศึกษา ขนาดของตัวอักษรไทยที่เหมาะสมสำหรับเด็กเริ่มเรียนซึ่งเด็กจะสามารถเขียนได้สวยและเร็ว ผู้วิจัยได้เลือก ผู้วิจัยได้เลือกขนาดของตัวอักษรไทย 4 ขนาด คือ ขนาด .8 เซนติเมตร, ขนาด 1.3 เซนติเมตร, ขนาด 1.9 เซนติเมตร และขนาด 2.5 เซนติเมตร สำหรับตัวอักษรที่จะให้เด็กหัดนั้น ผู้วิจัยได้เลือกตัวอักษรเรียงจากง่ายไปหายาก 13 ตัว คือ ง ว บ ก ฝ ค ข ม ท ล อ ญ และ ฏ แล้วนำมาสร้างเป็นแบบทดสอบเพื่อวัดความสวย และเวลาในการเขียนตัวอักษรไทยทั้ง 4 ขนาดของนักเรียนอนุบาล โรงเรียนอนุบาลเอกชนและรัฐบาลรวม 5 แห่ง แห่งละ 20 คน รวม 100 คน เป็นชายและหญิงจำนวนเท่าๆกัน มีอายุระหว่าง 5 - 6 ปี เด็กเหล่านี้ได้ผ่านการทดสอบความพร้อมในการเขียนมาแล้ว ต่อจากนั้นนำข้อมูลที่เก็บรวบรวมได้มาวิเคราะห์หาค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ของคะแนนความสวยและเวลา แล้ววิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน (Analysis of Variance) ชนิด 2 ตัวประกอบโดยใช้ตัวอย่างประชากรซ้ำกันทุกรายการ (Two Factor’s Design Repeated Sample) เพื่อทดสอบความมีนัยสำคัญของความแตกต่างระหว่างเวลาเฉลี่ยที่เด็กชาย เด็กหญิง และเด็กทุกคนได้จากการเขียนอักษรไทยขนาดต่างๆ ถ้าแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ก็ทดสอบความแตกต่างของขนาดของอักษรไทยแต่ละคู่ด้วยวิธีของดันกั่น (Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test) ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า 1.การเขียนพยัญชนะ ง ว ค ม และ ญ ด้วยขนาด .8 เซนติเมตร ใช้เวลาน้อยกว่า ขนาด 2.5 เซนติเมตร ส่วนเวลาที่ใช้ในการเขียนพยัญชนะ บ ก ฝ ข ท อ ฏ ทั้งสี่ขนาดไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 2.คะแนนความสวยเหมือนแบบที่ได้จากการเขียนพยัญชนะ ว บ ก ฝ ค ข ม ท ล อ ญ ฏ ทั้งสี่ขนาดไม่มีความแตกต่างกันที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ.05 ยกเว้นพยัญชนะ ง ซึ่งขนาด .8 เซนติเมตร และ 1.3 เซนติเมตร สวยกว่าขนาด 2.5 เซนติเมตร ที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .05 3.ผลพลอยได้ของการวิจัยนี้คือ เด็กเริ่มเรียนเลือกเรียนอักษรขนาด 1.3 เซนติเมตร เป็นตัวแรกมากที่สุด

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this research was to find the proper size of Thai letters for the beginners. The study was to find out which size of Thai letters was finer, quicker, and appropriate for beginners. In conducting the research, the following four sizes of Thai letters, .8 cm., 1.3 cm., 1.9 cm., and 2.5 cm. were chosen to represent the four sizes of Thai letters., and the following thirteen consonants form the Thai alphabet, ง ว บ ก ฝ ค ข ม ท ล อ ญ and ฏ were chosen to represent the four sizes of Thai letters. They were first categorized from easy to difficult and were then used in the construction of the test in order to evaluate the fineness and speed of the four sizes. The samples of this study were 100 kindergarten pupils from two private kindergarten schools and three public kindergarten schools. Twenty kindergarten pupils from each school, ranging in age from five to six and with an equal number of boys and girls, were eventually chosen for this sample from the readiness test in writing skills. In collecting and analyzing the data, the mean of the pupils’ marks in fineness and the time limit in writing were utilized. The Analysis of Variance Technique was applied for all testing. If there were significant differences among the achievement of the sizes .8 cm., 1.3 cm., 1.9 cm., and 2.5 cm. the Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test was called for in order to compare the significant differences of the paired means among those sizes at each mentioned sizes. Finding: 1. The writing of letter ง ว ค ม and ญ of the .8 cm. size was faster than the 2.5 cm. size but the time for writing of บ ก ฝ ข ท อ ฏ for all sizes, was no significantly different at the level of .05. 2. The score of the fineness of letters ว บ ก ฝ ค ข ม ท ล อ ญ ฏ for all sizes was no significantly different at the level of .05 except the letter ง which the .8 cm. and 1.3 cm. were finer than the 2.5 cm. at the level of .05. 3. The outstanding by product of this research is the 1.3 size letter was first and most chosen by the pupils to be model for their handwriting
