Abstract

วัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อสร้างแบบสอบความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างภาษาอังกฤษระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาการศึกษาชั้นสูง ที่มีคุณภาพเป็นที่เชื่อถือได้ วิธีการดำเนินการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างแบบสอบความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างภาษาอังกฤษขึ้น 1 ชุด เป็นแบบทดสอบแบบปรนัยชนิดเลือกตอบมี 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 150 ข้อ นำแบบสอบไปทดลองสอบกับนักศึกษาวิชาเอกภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาการศึกษาชั้นสูง จำนวน 100 คน แล้วนำแบบสอบมาทำการวิเคราะห์ข้อสอบเป็นรายข้อเพื่อคัดเลือกข้อสอบที่มีคุณภาพดี มีความยากง่ายอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และมีอำนาจจำแนกสูง นำข้อสอบที่คัดเลือกและปรับปรุงแล้วจำนวน 100 ข้อ ไปทดสอบกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาวิชาเอกภาษาอังกฤษระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาการศึกษาชั้นสูงปีที่ 2 ในวิทยาลัยครู 8 แห่ง จำนวน 385 คน นำผลมาวิเคราะห์หาค่าระดับความยาก (p) และ ค่าอำนาจจำแนก (r) ของแบบสอบ คำนวณหาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ความคลาดเลื่อนมาตรฐานของค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าความเที่ยง ของแบบสอบ ( Reliability ) โดยใช้สูตร คูเดอร์ ริชาร์ดสัน ที่ 21 ทดสอบความมีนัยสำคัญของค่าความเที่ยงโดยใช้ t-test และหาความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานในการวัด ผลการวิจัย ได้แบบสอบความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาการศึกษาชั้นสูง จำนวน 98 ข้อ ค่าความยากง่ายกระจายตั้งแต่ .20 ถึง .80 ค่าอำนาจจำแนกอยู่ระหว่าง +.20 ถึง +.70 ค่าความเที่ยงของแบบสอบเท่ากับ .78 และค่าความเที่ยงนี้มีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 นอกจากนี้แบบสอบยังมีความตรงตามเนื้อหาของระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาการศึกษาชั้นสูง

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

Purpose The main purpose of this research was to construct and effective English structure proficiency test at the higher certificate of education level. Procedures An English structure proficiency test consisting of one hundred and fifty multiple-choice items was constructed. It was pretested with one hundred Higher Certificate of Education English majors. Item analyses were performed. Then, one hundred good items were selected on the basis of item difficulty and discrimination. The test was administered to three hundred and eighty-five second year higher Certificate of Education English majors in eight teacher training colleges. Statistics was computed, including indices of item difficulty and discrimination, the mean, the standard deviation, the standard error of the mean, the Kuder-Richardson Formula 21 reliability, the significance of the reliability coefficient by using the t-test and the standard error of measurement. Results An effective ninety-eight item English Structure Proficiency Test at the Higher Certificate of Education Level was produced. The level of item difficulty varied from .20 to .80. The discrimination power lied between +.20 and +.70. The reliability of the test was .78 at the .01 level of significance. The test was also valid in content.
