Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1)ศึกษาพัฒนาการการตั้งถิ่นฐาน บทบาท และความสำคัญ ของชุมชนตลาดคลองสวนตั้งในอดีตและปัจจุบัน 2)ศึกษารูปแบบการตั้งถิ่นฐานและปัจจัยต่างๆ ที่ส่งผล ต่อรูปแบบการตั้งถิ่นฐานของชุมชนตลาดคลองสวน 3)ศึกษาเอกลักษณ์การตั้งถิ่นฐานและปัญหาทาง กายภาพของชุมชนตลาดคลองสวน 4)เสนอแนะแนวทางการแก้ปีญหาทางกายภาพของชุมชนที่เหมาะสม และสอดคก้องคับเอกลักษณ์การตั้งถิ่นฐานของชุมชนตลาดคลองสวนจากการศึกษาพบว่าพัฒนาการของชุมชนริมนี้าตลาดคลองสวนตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจจุบันมีลักษณะ ที่ค่อยเป็นค่อยไป โครงสร้างและองค์ประกอบส่วนใหญ่ของชุมชนได้พัฒนามาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และยังคงมี ความกลมกลืนกับสภาพแวดล้อมทางธรรมชาติเป็นอย่างดี ถึงแม้ว่าพัฒนาการในระยะหลังที่มีการพัฒนา เส้นทางถนนจะทำให้รูปแบบการตั้งถิ่นฐานของชุมชนเริ่มมีการขยายตัวไปตามเก้นทางถนนมากขึ้นก็ตาม แต่เมื่อเปรียบเทียบในภาพรวมของชุมชนแก้วการเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าวยังถือว่าเป็นส่วนน้อยของชุมชน โดยจะเห็นได้จากรูปแบบวิถีชีวิต รูปแบบการตั้งถิ่นฐานแบบตั้งเดิมที่ขนานกับคลอง ระบบกิจกรรม และ การใช้พื้นที่ยังคงไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากเดิม รวมตั้งอาคารบ้านเรือนก็ยังคงรูปแบบทางสถาปัตยกรรมอัน เป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของชุมชนริมนํ้าตลาดคลองสวน คือ เรือนแถวริมนํ้า นอกจากนี้แก้วในด้านกลุ่ม คนถึงแม้ว่าจะมีความแตกต่างกันทางเชื้อชาติศาสนา แตกสามารถอยู่รวมกันได้เป็นอย่างดี โดยมีตลาดเป็น ศูนย์กลางของชุมชน และมี ศาสนาสถานเป็นศูนย์รวมทางจิตใจข้อเสนอแนะเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการพัฒนาชุมชนริมนํ้าตลาดคลองสวน ได้แก่ ส่งเสริมการรักษา เอกลักษณ์ที่ดีงามของชุมชนไว้อย่างยั่งยืนโดยการมีส่วนร่วมระหว่างรัฐและประชาชนในห้องถิ่น รวมตั้ง การสร้างรายได้ให้แก่ชุมชนควบคู่กับการอนุรักษ์ตามแนวทางการพัฒนากิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงอนุรักษ์ ที่มีความเหมาะสมกับสภาพชุมชน

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The objectives of this study are: 1) to study the development of the settlement, the roles and the significance of Talad Khlong Suan community; 2) to study the settlement patterns of the community and factors affecting them; 3) to study the identity of the community settlement and its physical problems; and 4) to propose appropriate solutions to those problems that comply with the identity of the community settlement. The study reveals that Talad Khlong Suan waterfront community has been gradually developed. The structure and the components of the community, which have been developed continuously, coexist very well with the natural environment. Although some new roads have been developed, causing new settlement patterns to develop along the roadsides, the changes have occurred only within small parts of the community. Most of the people’s traditional way of life, the original canalside settlement pattern, the traditional activities and space systems, and traditional waterfront row-houses still exist. Local people, consist of several nationalities and religions, can still live together peacefully. The market place is still the center of the community while religious institutes are still the sole of the community. The proposed development guidelines for Talad Khlong Suan waterfront community include the conservation of the community identity through the co-operation between local people and government agencies and the generation of local income through cultural tourism development.
