Abstract

รวบรวมและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงประวัติศาสตร์ เกี่ยวกับการวิจารณ์งานสถาปัตยกรรมในประเทศไทย เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาอันเกิดจากการขาดแคลนข้อมูลพื้นฐาน และสร้างองค์ความรู้ของการวิจารณ์งานสถาปัตยกรรมขึ้นอย่างเป็นระบบ โดยกำหนดช่วงระยะเวลาในการศึกษาและรวบรวมข้อมูลตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2525 จนถึงปี พ.ศ. 2543 ซึ่งทั้งหมดนี้อาศัยข้อมูลภาคเอกสารภายในประเทศเป็นหลัก ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สถานภาพงานวิจารณ์สถาปัตยกรรมในประเทศไทยนั้น มีความเปลี่ยนแปลงและมีจุดมุ่งหมายที่แตกต่างกัน ไปตามบริบทและห้วงเวลาทางประวัติศาสตร์ โดยในช่วงก่อนปี พ.ศ. 2525 นั้น งานวิจารณ์ส่วนใหญ่มีแนวโน้มที่จะต่อต้านการลอกเลียนของเก่า ส่วนในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2525-2535 อันเป็นช่วงยุคเศรษฐกิจฟองสบู่นั้น งานวิจารณ์จะสะท้อนให้เห็นปัญหา และร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการแก้ไขกรณีวิกฤตเอกลักษณ์ทางสถาปัตยกรรมในประเทศ ไทยอย่างชัดเจน ในช่วงสุดท้าย นับจากปี พ.ศ. 2535 ถึง 2543 งานวิจารณ์นั้นมีลักษณะที่แตกตัวกระจัดกระจายออกไป รวมทั้งมีความหลากหลายในประเด็นและเนื้อหา เนื่องจากการเพิ่มปริมาณขึ้นของสื่อทางสถาปัตยกรรม ในแง่ของรูปแบบงานวิจารณ์สถาปัตยกรรม พบว่างานวิจารณ์ส่วนใหญ่ในประเทศ มักอยู่ในรูปของงานวิจารณ์แนวบรรทัดฐาน แนวตีความ และแนวพรรณนา ส่วนงานวิจารณ์แนวประเมินคุณค่ามีอยู่น้อย ข้อสรุปของงานวิจัยนั้นยืนยันถึงคุณค่าของงานวิจารณ์สถาปัตยกรรม ในฐานะที่เป็นองค์ความรู้หนึ่งของศาสตร์แห่งสถาปัตยกรรม ซึ่งทำหน้าที่เป็นเสมือนสะพานแลกเปลี่ยนความเข้าใจ ระหว่างสาธารณชนและวงการสถาปัตยกรรม สมควรได้รับการสนับสนุนให้เกิดการเผยแพร่และศึกษาวิจัย เพื่อที่จะผลิตนักวิจารณ์ที่มีจรรยาบรรณและสร้างผลงานที่มีคุณประโยชน์ต่อไป ในอนาคต

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

To collect and analyze the historical information of the architectural criticism in Thailand in order to solve the problem of database lacking and systematic establishment the knowledge of architectural criticism within the content of time between B.E. 2525-2543. All of those are architectural document in thailand. This research discovers that architectural criticism status has changed and has different objectives according to its historical contexts and times. Before B.E. 2525, most of architectural criticism works had a tendency of anti-initiation of traditional Thai architecture. Between B.E. 2525-2535, they had represented and cooperated to resolve the crisis of architectural identity in thailand and later, B.E. 2535-2543, they had characteristic of fragmentation and varied points of view. The styles of architectural criticism in Thailand are the mixed use of normative, interpretative and descriptive but less of evaluative criticism. The conclusion of this research is that architectural criticism has been a valuable and important of architectural knowledge in Thailand, as the medium of exchanging knowledges between the architectural circle and its public. By means of supporting researches and distribution, It should enhance Thai architectural critics with moral and ethic for the excellently architectural criticism in the future.
