Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้เป็นงานวิจัยทางด้านสถาปัตยกรรมไทย ในหัวข้อ โครงการศึกษาเพื่อการออกแบบโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมประจำจังหวัดนครปฐม ณ วัดพระปฐมเจดีย์ จังหวัดนครปฐม ซึ่งมีประเด็นในการศึกษาที่สำคัญดังนี้ วิทยานิพนธ์นี้เป็นการศึกษาถึงประวัติความเป็นมาของโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรม, ประเภทต่างๆ และระดับชั้นการศึกษาของพระภิกษุและสามเณรในประเทศไทยโดยละเอียด เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจในองค์ประกอบโดยรวม, ลักษณะ และข้อแตกต่างของโครงการโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมที่ทำการศึกษาได้อย่างชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้น นอกจากนั้นยังเป็นการศึกษาอาคารตัวอย่างโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมขนาดต่างๆภายในพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานครที่มีการจัดการเรียนการสอนอย่างเป็นระบบ เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจในการออกแบบงานสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีพื้นที่ใช้สอยที่เหมาะสมสำหรับอาคารโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรม ตลอดจนการวิเคราะห์สภาพปัญหาในด้านต่างๆเพื่อสรุปข้อดี-ข้อเสียของอาคารโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมในปัจจุบัน นอกจากนี้ยังทำการศึกษาหาแนวทางของรูปแบบงานสถาปัตยกรรมไทยที่สามารถตอบสนองต่อพื้นที่ใช้สอยขนาดใหญ่ในอาคารทางการศึกษาได้อย่างถูกต้องตรงตามฉันทลักษณ์ และเพื่องานสร้างสรรค์ที่ดีและสอดคล้องกับสถานที่ตั้งโครงการจึงมีความจำเป็นที่ต้องศึกษาและค้นหาเอกลักษณ์ทางสถาปัตยกรรมไทยของวัดพระปฐมเจดีย์เพิ่มเติม ก่อนที่จะผนวกข้อมูลจากการศึกษาในส่วนต่างๆทั้งหมดเพื่อนำเสนอเป็นผลงานการออกแบบทางสถาปัตยกรรมไทยในตอนท้ายของวิทยานิพนธ์เพื่อเป็นแนวทางสำหรับโครงการที่จะเกิดขึ้นต่อไป จุดที่น่าสนใจของวิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ คือการศึกษาเพื่อให้ได้มาซึ่งองค์ความรู้ของแนวความคิดในการสร้างสรรค์งานสถาปัตยกรรมไทยของโรงเรียนพระปริยัติธรรมซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการสืบทอดพระพุทธศาสนาโดยตรง ซึ่งผลของการวิจัยพบว่า เป็นลักษณะของการออกแบบงานสถาปัตยกรรมไทยที่เอื้อต่อประโยชน์ใช้สอยตลอดจนบรรยากาศในการศึกษาของพระและมีการสื่อความหมายในส่วนประกอบต่างๆของอาคาร เพื่อให้เข้าใจในจุดประสงค์สูงสุดของการศึกษาของพระสงฆ์คือ เพื่อการเจริญปัญญา เพื่อการลดกิเลสไปตามลำดับขั้นได้

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

This thesis report is purposely written as part of the completion of the study for architectural design of monastery school for Nakornpathom province in Watt Prapathomjadi. The content of this report is separated into the following parts: This thesis is conducted through examination of historical background, types and class levels of the Monastery Schools in Thailand in order to enhance a better understanding of the main components in the thesis. In addition, the thesis aims to study a sample group of monastery schools with intensive Buddhist teaching of different sizes located in the Bangkok area in order to gain more understanding of how architectural design helps to utilize the space usage of the monastery schools as well as to analyse the aspect of the problems, the pros and cons of each architectural design of current monastery schools. In addition to finding out the best solution for Thai architectural design large educational buildings, there are more study samples. In order to create a good design which matches with the project site, it is essential to study and do some more research on the uniqueness of Thai architectural design at Watt Prapathom-chedi before putting together information from all previous parts to propose a conceptual design of Thai traditional architecture of a monastery school in the final part of this thesis to be a guideline for similar project in the future. The interesting point of this thesis is to study the relevant information and find out a conceptual design of Thai traditional architecture which is a part of the direct transition of Buddhist teaching through the Monastery schools. The result of the study on the pattern of Thai architectural design is to optimize space usage as well as create a good atmosphere for the monastery study and each component of the design can represent some meaning on the highest purpose of monastery study that is to enhance wisdom and gradually reduce some greed, anger and ignorance.
