Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการดำเนินโครงการศึกษาอิสระ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้พยายามฆ่าตัวดายก่อนและหลังการให้คำปรึกษาแบบพิจารณาเหตุผลและอารมณ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้พยายามฆ่าตัวตาย จำนวน 20 คน ได้จากการคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจงตามเกณฑ์คุณสมบัติจากผู้พยายามฆ่าตัวตายซึ่งมารับบริการที่ หน่วยงานสุขภาพจิต โรงพยาบาลศรีมหาโพธิ กลุ่มตัวอย่างได้รับโปรแกรมการให้คำปรึกษาแบบพิจารณาเหตุผลและอารมณ์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาประกอบด้วย โปรแกรมการให้คำปรึกษาแบบพิจารณาเหตุผลและอารมณ์ ผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 3 ท่าน เครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลได้แก่ แบบวัดภาวะซึมเศร้าของ Beck (1991) มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นโดยใช้สัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟา ตามวิธีของคอนบราค เท่ากับ .80 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การคำนวณค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ใช้สถิติทดสอบค่าที (paired t - test)โดยกำหนดค่าระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ผลการศึกษาที่สำคัญ สรุปได้ดังนี้ ค่าคะแนนเฉลี่ยของภาวะมเศร้าหลังการให้คำปรึกษาแบบพิจารณาเหตุผลและอารมณ์ ต่ำกว่าก่อนการให้คำปรึกษาแบบพิจารณาเหตุผลและอารมณ์ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

Other Abstract (Other language abstract of ETD)

The purpose of this independent study project was to study depression of suicidal attempters before and after using rational emotive counseling program. The sample of 20 suicidal attempters who met the inclusion criteria were purposively recruited from the medical wards, Srimahaphot Hospital, Prachinburi Province. The instrument used in this study was the rational emotive counseling program. emphasizing rational emotive therapy. which was validated by three professional experts. Data were collected using the modified Beck Depression Inventory. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient reliability for the inventory was .80. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation and paired t -tests. Major findings were as follows : That mean depression scores of suicidal attempters after using rational emotive counseling program were significantly lower than before using this program at .05 level.
