Abstract

The knowledge, attitude, and practice about oral health in two Thai group of difference economic and educational levels was compared. There are no differences among the two groups in knowledge and attitude about the oral health, dentists and dental service. The differences are found in the demands of the types of dental services, the appointment of the dentist and the care of their children oral health.(การศึกษาเรื่อง ความรู้ ทัศนคติ และพฤติกรรม เกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพ ของคนไทย 2 กลุ่ม ซึ่งมีระดับการศึกษาและเศรษฐานะต่างกัน ได้แก่ กลุ่มพนักงาน ของธนาคาร และกลุ่มคนงานในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม พบว่า ทั้ง 2 กลุ่มมีความรู้ และทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับทันตสุขภาพ ทันตแพทย์ และบริการทันตกรรมไม่แตกต่างกัน แต่มีความแตกต่างกันในพฤติกรรมเกี่ยวกับจัดอันดับความต้องการ ชนิดของบริการ ทันตกรรม การไปพบทันตแพทย์ และการดูแลทันตสุขภาพของบุตร ซึ่งความแตกต่างนี้มีสาเหตุจากเศรษฐานะร่วมอยู่ด้วย)
