Abstract
Gingival enlargement is a well-known consequence of the administration of some systemic drugs, which may create speech, mastication, tooth eruption, and aesthetic problems. Amlodipine, a new generation of calcium channel blockers, has also been reported of gingival enlargement as a rare side effect. This case report showed that amlodipine-induced gingival enlargement could be resolved by conventional periodontal treatment without any surgical procedure and has no recurrence for one year recall.
