Abstract

This study compiles information on the dental health understandings and its influencial learning factors of primary school student for improving the dental health program in primary school. Discriminative questionnaires were tested with 2045 students with complete dental health curricula. Results showed that 70.3 percents were in fair level, where 0.8, 10.8, 15.4 and 2.7 percents were in excellent, good, poor and require immediate remedy respectively. It was also found that special curricula such as education by dental health personnel, school exhibition canpaign and the school compliance were able to describe the variance of the dental health knowledge score significantly. (P ≤ 0.01) (การศึกษานี้มีความมุ่งหมายในการหาข้อมูลด้านความรู้ทางทันตสุขภาพของนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา พร้อมทั้งปัจจัยที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการเรียนรู้ เพื่อพัฒนางานทันตสาธารณสุขในโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา ซึ่งพบว่าจากการทดสอบความรู้นักเรียนประถมศึกษาที่ผ่านการเรียนเรื่องทันตสุขภาพตามหลักสูตรครบทุกเรื่องแล้ว จํานวน 2,045 คน โดยใช้แบบทดสอบที่ผ่านการทดสอบเพื่อหาค่าอํานาจการจําแนกเรียบร้อยแล้ว พบว่ามีนักเรียนส่วนใหญ่ร้อยละ 70.3 มีความรู้ระดับปานกลาง จํานวนร้อยละ 0.8, 10.8, 15.4 และ 2.7 มีความรู้ระดับดีมาก ดี ควรปรับปรุง และ ต้องปรับปรุงด่วนตามลําดับ สําหรับปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคะแนนความรู้ทางทันตสุขภาพของนักเรียนนี้พบว่า กิจกรรมพิเศษนอกหลักสูตรได้แก่การสอนทันตสุขศึกษาโดยทันตบุคลากร และการจัดกิจกรรมรณรงค์ในโรงเรียน รวมถึงความร่วมมือของโรงเรียนสามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนของคะแนนความรู้ทางทันตสุขภาพของนักเรียนเหล่านี้ ได้อย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (P ≤ 0.01) )
