Abstract

Case report of excessive anterior maxillary protrusion where upper lip may not abscure upper anterior teeth. The location of upper lip is at the cervical of upper anterior teeth, while the lower lip locates at lingual surface of the upper anterior teeth during lip closure. After extraction and alveloplasty, an immediate removable prosthesis was placed. Consequential for success, the patient has significantly improved his personality and becomes more phillosophical towards his profession.(รายงานผู้ป่วยที่มีฟันหน้าบนยื่นเขยินมาก เมื่อปิดริมฝีปากแล้วจะยังมองเห็นฟันยื่นออกมานอกปากทั้งซี่ตําแหน่งของริมฝีปากบนขณะปิดปากอยู่บริเวณคอฟันหน้าบนและริมฝีปากล่างอยู่ใต้ฟันหน้าบน ได้วางแผนถอนฟันและตัดแต่งสันเหงือกสําหรับใส่ฟันปลอม เพื่อช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยมีรูปหน้าปกติ ภายหลังถอนฟันและผ่าตัดสันเหงือกแล้วใส่ฟันปลอมชนิดชั่วคราวทันที บุคลิกภาพและหน้าที่การงานของผู้ป่วยได้เปลี่ยนไปในทางที่ดี)
