Abstract

The objective of this research was studying the dental health behaviour of Bangkok metropolitan school children aged 12 years in Ratchathewi district. These school children had average dental health attitude score 2.67 and good dental health knowledge, average 8.42 marks per 10 marks. Female school children had more average attitude score and dental health knowledge score than male school children. There was statistical difference between male and female group (P<0.05). The mean DMF-T of this children group was 2.36. By Pearson's correlation analysis there was a statistical significance (P<0.05) between dental health knowledge score and DMF-T of male and female and these children group with simple correlation coefficients of -0.25, -0.44 and -0.34 respectively. Mostly these children group were correct doing their oral hygiene.(วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมทันตสุขภาพ นักเรียนโรงเรียนกรุงเทพมหานคร อายุ 12 ปี เขตราชเทวี จํานวน 206 คน เป็นนักเรียนชาย 90 คน และนักเรียนหญิง 116 คน ซึ่งประกอบด้วยทัศนคติต่อสุขภาพช่องปาก วัดทัศนคติชนิดมี 3 ตัวเลือกระดับคะแนน 1 2 และ 3 เด็กนักเรียนกลุ่มนี้มีคะแนนทัศนคติบวกต่อสุขภาพทางช่องปาก เฉลี่ย 2.67 มีความรู้ทันตสุขภาพดีเฉลี่ย 8.42 คะแนน จาก 10 คะแนน นักเรียนหญิงมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยทัศนคติต่อสุขภาพช่องปากและความรู้ทันตสุขภาพดีกว่านักเรียนชาย และแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น (P<0.05) ค่าเฉลี่ยฟันผุ ถอน อุดต่อซี่ ของเด็กนักเรียนกลุ่มนี้เท่ากับ 2.36 สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ ระหว่างคะแนนความรู้ทันตสุขภาพและค่าฟันผุ ถอน อุดต่อที่ โดยวิธีของเปียร์สัน นักเรียนหญิง นักเรียนชายและเด็กนักเรียนกลุ่มนี้มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.44, -0.25 และ -0.34 ตามลําดับ และมีความสัมพันธ์กันจริงอย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่น (P<0.05) การดูแลสุขภาพในช่องปากของเด็กนักเรียนกลุ่มนี้ส่วนใหญ่จะปฏิบัติตนได้ถูกต้อง)
