Abstract

There are different ways in each country to solve dental problems. The differences depend on the conditions of problems and characteristics of the communities in each country. Nevertheless, many countries have the congruous methods to solve the problem of lacking dental services of the people. The use of dental mobile unit is one of the resolutions. This method needs the plan in managing material, equipment, manpower and budget to correspond with the problems in each area. The plans may be differrent on the types of the organizers that are public or private sectors.(การแก้ไขปัญหาทันตสาธารณสุขของชุมชนต่าง ๆ ในแต่ละประเทศ มีความแตกต่างกันไปตามสภาพปัญหาและลักษณะชุมชนนั้น แต่วิธีการซึ่งเหมือนกันประการหนึ่งที่หลายประเทศใช้แก้ปัญหาการขาดการได้รับบริการทันตกรรมของประชาชนก็คือการใช้หน่วยทันตกรรมเคลื่อนที่ หน่วยทันตกรรมเคลื่อนที่เป็นแนวทางหนึ่งที่ต้องใช้การวางแผนด้านการจัดวัสดุอุปกรณ์ บุคลากร งบประมาณ เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับสภาพปัญหาในแต่ละพื้นที่ ทั้งยังอาจมีความแตกต่างตามองค์กรที่เป็นผู้บริหารหน่วยทันตกรรมเคลื่อนที่นั้น ๆ ว่าอยู่ในภาครัฐหรือภาคเอกชนอีกด้วย)
