Abstract

Shovel-shaped incisors were studied from 13 hunter-gatherer group Sakai living at Ban Klongtung, Palian district, Trang Province. The models of 45 teeth were evaluated by Hrdlicka's Classification and the Dahlberg's P.1. The 55.5 per cent of shovel-shaped incisors were found in this study which similars to those of Melanesia, Fiji, Newguinea and American- negro. Thus suggestsd that the hunter-gatherer group has the same ancestor.(การศึกษาฟันรูปโชเวลของชนกลุ่มน้อยเผ่าซาไก ซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ที่หมู่บ้านคลองตุง ตําบลปะเหลียน จังหวัดตรัง จํานวน 13 คน 45 ซีฟัน จากแบบพิมพ์ฟัน พบฟันรูปโชเวล จําแนกตามวิธี Hrdlicka's classification และ Dahlberg's Plaque P.1. ได้ 55.5 เปอร์เซนต์ จากการศึกษาพบว่าใกล้เคียงกับชาวเมลานีเซียน ฟิจิ นิวกินี อเมริกันนิโกร แสดงว่าชนชาติเหล่านี้มีสายพันธุ์เดียวกัน หรือมีบรรพบุรุษเดียวกัน)
